Vicious Circle works with original military materials that have already lived a life.

Old duffle bags, equipment and fabrics are taken apart and reconstructed into new bags and objects. The idea is not to make the material look new again. Fading, repairs, markings, old stitching and other traces of use remain whenever they are part of its history.

Each piece develops from what the existing material allows. Cuts, details and proportions may therefore vary. No two bags are exactly alike.

The original fabrics are combined with carefully selected hardware, webbing and leather. Wherever possible, vintage or military components are used as well. New materials are added deliberately and sparingly.

Vicious Circle does not try to recreate vintage.
The vintage is already there.

Every piece is individually made in Berlin. Quantities are limited accordingly.
